Do not focus on dark clouds
Instead look at the beauty of the sun's rays
filtering down through them
We cannot see the sun's rays on a sunny day
Dark clouds are needed to reveal their beauty
Sighing softly...
Everything is perfectly all right
Always has been and always will be
...I could feel that the sun was behind the clouds, because there was a warm breeze mixed in with the cold pacific wind across my face as I ran across the street divider, dodging the incoming cars that were oblivious to it all, catching my breath I looked to my side to see if the moon might have smiled at me, but no, the sky was grey, no puffy clouds, for my mind was not running with me, it was miles away on another shoreline were the air was humid, and the rays of the sun were writing my thoughts on the sand for not the waves to wash away, but for another runner, who might stumble over them and smile....
ReplyDeleteThat is so beautiful as is this other image you wrote to me which I copy here......as the starlight was so shy to light my way, and the moon was away on a lovers' trail, I stopped at the line between the ocean and the sea, felt your breath wave my hair before the swaying trees, I gazed to see if your light was on, to feel your silhouette outline the window, and your long shadow find me across the shoreline...perhaps a firefly would write your name across the sky, as I fall on the sand, on my back, laying there and looking high up into the vast milky way, looking for you, seeking you among the billion lights...
